John liked life. John liked to run. John liked to preach.

Then came October, 2008. It wasn’t the flu. Who knew?
77 days is a long time to spend in the hospital.
18 months is a long time to not eat.
But, God wasn’t done yet.
John’s back. Food tastes really good. Preaching does too.
And running? Well, he’s still working on that.

Joanna never planned on being a caregiver.
She liked being a mom, wife and para-professional assisting troubled kids in the local school district.
John testifies that she was a great caregiver, but she’s glad to not be called for that role as much now.

Together, John and Joanna enjoyed parenting Anna, Josiah and Andrew.
Now they are making Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin their home base.
Joanna, among many other things, is an expert at making home’s delightful. John’s an interim pastor.
More books are in the making, but they aren’t far enough along to say much about yet.
